Satisfactory

Everything was nice. Staff was helpful, and friendly. Very nice lobby and eating area. Overall, very quiet. Room was good enough, very comfortable beds, temperature, and had everything you needed, including a very large mini fridge. Room was a little outdated, but clean. Could use a little touchup, and microwave (which was nice to have) may have been from the 80's. Bathroom was small, but everything was there. For a budget hotel room, it was satisfactory.

The room smelled like stale smoke. Really bad my husband went down to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms all they had was a queen bed. He brought down a spray bottle with pink liquid I am assuming it was Odor ban and sprayed the walls the bathroom was horrible smelling again like stale smoke. The kid apologized and left the bottle so we could continue to spray the wall floor whatever. He said he would see if we could get a discount on the room. I woke up with a headache either from the chemical or stale smoke. My Husband went up to the desk to ask if we could switch rooms or cancel if none were available. She canceled it.

Front desk hospitality would be welcomed.

Let’s teach young staff how to welcome a guest, smile, look someone in the eye. Greet them before they have to greet you. Disappointing front desk staff wasn’t masked. Didn’t make me feel good about Covid protocols. Opened window in room to move air and hoped for the best. No breakfast to speak of as promised at booking on hotels app. Sign said too few guests so a couple breakfast sandwiches wrapped in plastic. Bed was comfortable.

Staff was amazing our room was very clean. Breakfast was so so no kids cereal. Pool area needs work pool was cloudy we never did find our diving toy because you couldn't see the bottom. Hot tub had cement chunks in it but staff got someone out to clean it. Over-all stay was nice.

Big disappointment all the way around. The hot tub was lukewarm no movie channels to rent. Breakfast was terrible!

This was a very frustrating reservation and experience. The bedding was physically dirty to the point it had to be taken to the front desk. There was no offer of switching rooms to one that was cleaner. We were simply handed a clean set of sheets and had to change it ourselves. Not as important but the hot tube definately is not hot. For as much as the room cost, we could have stayed elsewhere and had a better experience and at a minimum, clean sheets.
