Squaw Valley Lodge

Mattresses weren't very comfortable and they used a very strong smelling (baby powder) scent. Vbut ski in ski out! And the outdoor hot tub was awesome. Excellent service. Got two massages from Mel and she is in my top 2-3 massage therapists (due to joint issues, I have gotten a lot of massages). Overall, great spot

The unit we stayed in was out-dated and could use an upgrade. I paid more for this studio than another guest and his family paid for a one bedroom. The proximity to the lift chair was the best thing. Having the amenities (hot tub, sauna, exercise/weight room, etc.) was also better than expected: clean, convenient, and comfortable.

There was strong wind & the sky roof kept making loud noises. There was no other room for us to move to. The sky roof was right above the bed. We did get resort fees refunded. Blankets on bunk bed were all dirty & got hair on everyone. Extra blankets got hair all over as well.

The studio room was very comfortable- even the pull out sofa- since it was a trundle with wood slat frame so no bar to break your back. Unfortunately the guest services and amenities were less than what was expected- like no robes available to walk from your room to the sauna/steam room/hot tub area- and no where to leave your stuff once you were there (no lockers). Plus the bell hop didn't even offer to help with luggage - he only dropped off a luggage cart- that we had to ask for.

Awesome. All the comfort, convenience, and commedities a guest needs, especially during a ski trip.
