The Great George

Lovely hotel. Super clean, high end touches, including breakfast, afternoon cookies and coffee/tea all day. The location can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Very nice old hotel in great location downtown. Parking is limited if the area is busy. Friendly service. Wonderful place.

Young man at front desk new very little about surrounding area. An example; we wanted to go to a bar to watch a sporting event and he wasn’t sure where we would find a large screen TV although he did give us the name of two bars to try. Another example; he said to walk up Great George street and it would turn into University. He could have mentioned that we have to walk around to get there. However, he was very polite.

Loud air conditioning in the room, did not sleep all night.

Perfect location...warm atmosphere...class act! We had a friend recommend this Hotel and we were NOT disappointed. Decor was so inviting, as were the staff. Central to all shopping/eating establishments. Overall, a super experience.
