Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel

Excellent staff, all very friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. Very clean. Good on site car parking.

A quick decision to choose a hotel for the weekend. We chose well. Absolutely loved our room. Spacious with huge bed smart tv. Lovely meals pleasant staff. Due to covid a drink or meal could be had in the marquee. Hope we can return soon.

Kids-free night away as 2 couples & thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hotel was clean & all staff really excellent, a credit to the hotel. We sat outside in the marquee tent from 2 till 10 (1st in & was last out!) near the heaters with our hats & scarfs on enjoying a good few drinks & BBQ food from outside catering being done. Was a great set up for Covid restrictions in place. Had a goods night sleep in comfy bed after & thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning. Overall a really enjoyable stay & felt Covid safe entire time there. Well done & thanks.

Nice spacious room with a very comfy bed,although the thin walls meant we disturbed in the early hours by the party going on next door.The restaurant was very good,we had dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed each although the breakfast was very slow to arrive,situated on the river it is a pleasant walk into town.Would recommend staying here

Food - absolutely fabulous!!!!

Stayed for one night and was very disappointed. The pictures on booking websites are not accurate of rooms, looks modern in the pictures but it is far from it. Entrance and restaurant/bar areas nice, but rooms very outdated and felt dirty as a result. Our room had an old TV and DVD player in it which shows it’s outdated, although surprised it wasn’t a video player! Bed comfy and nice, the rest of the furniture in the room is very old and not pleasant to look at, carpet also very old and looks like a school carpet style. Main course nice in the restaurant however waited a long time for dessert but we wished we hadn’t ordered it. Breakfast was nice, however service very poor - tables all set with side plates/knife and butters/condiments, but no offer of toast/pastries or juice at any point so very confusing. We asked for croissants which were brought out but it’s impossible to know what is available when it’s not on the menu or offered. We heard other tables asking for juice, pastry, cereal but these weren’t made available to us. Left overall feeling disappointed as not a cheap hotel and we were looking forward to staying as the pictures all looked nice. It is definitely not worthy of 4 stars and we won’t be staying again, and would recommend others don’t stay either.

Really nice hotel in a good location.The staff were all lovely, really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared. Would stay again.

Good location, lots of parking, rooms good, rest a bit dated. Shower needs a spruce

We had a one night stop over at the end of our NC500 trip. A very nice hotel ideally situated for walking into the town centre or along the river to the Inverness Islands.
