Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Goshen Middletown

We were place in a suite next to the ice machine, and it was probably one of the loudest experiences throughout the night and morning. Pretty sure the maintenance closet was also right next to our bedroom, as we heard shoving and disturbing noises coming from this area at about 5-6am. Customer service was very friendly in the AM, however, the PM agent was not very friendly or warm. I found the room was not cleaned very well (I carry disinfectant wipes because of Covid), and the grime I found on the kitchen counter/remote control was questionable and scary. The mattress was okay, the sheets were terribly stiff (most likely microfiber). The rooms are definitely a bit outdated and need a little sprucing. For the price, I really can't expect much, but this was definitely a shock. I don't think I would stay at another Fairfield Inn.

Friendly check in / check out with very clean room. Comfortable bedding and a great shower. Definitely a great experience.

The staff was wonderful, polite and accommodating. The room was clean and well kept. The wallpaper under the bathroom sink is falling off but other than that the room is updated.

I loved this hotel. I stayed for a night away from the family and my stay was great. The girl at the front desk was extremely nice and approachable, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. I would definitely stay here again. My room was nice and clean, my bathroom clean as well.

The staff were very nice and friendly. They were really accommodating during Covid. Parking is easy. I would definitely stay again.

Comfy, Quiet and clean hotel. With COVID 19 upon us it was a relief staying at the Fairfield. The hotel looks fairly new and the overall atmosphere was clean. I stayed in a double room on the 2nd floor. Bathroom was exceptional and the hotel even provided a sample surface wipe to clean up. They give you a little slip when you check in so you can make your own breakfast selections that they had pre packaged in the morning ready to go. Overall great stay for a great price!

A very nice stay have stayed before will go back in future

Property was very good. However, the front desk clerk needs more training in dealing with customers. The first morning during our stay, we went down to pick up the breakfast, Oct. 11th around 7am. We were told we were not getting any because we didn’t fill out a form during our checked in. That it was our/customers responsibility to fill this form out! We had NO knowledge about this form. This form was NOT presented to us when we checked in on Oct. 10th. When I asked if we can get a refund because breakfast was included in our payment, and told her again I was not aware of the breakfast form, she left and came back with two brown paper bags with our breakfast of her own choice. I also noticed that she wasn’t even using a hand sanitizer when handling coffee. This should be practiced especially this time of the pandemic. It was a very upsetting and disappointing first morning dealing with that front clerk.

It was only a one-night stay but it was great! I have no complaints!
