The Pearl South Pacific Resort

Staff were so friendly and welcoming.. always so happy and full of energy which puts a smile on your face instantly... rooms were beautiful and food and drinks were delicious.

Room was very dirty. Bathroom sink was clogged later fixed. Mould around the sink basin. Mould around floor corners. Dead cockroach on the floor. Urine on the toilet seat. Waitress positively stated no nuts in the food when there was substantial quantity present. Very dangerous when son has severe allergy to nuts.

Staff and service was not good there room are dirty

At check In we were told that the rooms were fully booked so we requested a roll away bed to go with our room for a third guest we had. The check in staff said that they could not accomodate us because we had booked for only 2 adults however we were willing to pay for a third guest on the roll away. We asked if they take it up with their manager but they never got back to us. We called for house keeping to bring a third towel down to us, they came never came. Hotel is nice but service needs to be improved.

Very relaxing stay. Room was big, light, airy, clean. All the staff were super-friendly. Meals were heavy on the local cuisine (as I'd expect), but there was good variety to keep most tastes satisfied. My partner and I had a meal to ourselves one night in the signature restaurant, Seduce, which was superb, if the service speed was on Fiji-time, but we weren't in a hurry. My only complaint - which seems to be common of many hotels in Fiji (though not the Starwood group), is that (initially - I had a "discussion" with management and this was quicjly satisfactorily resolved) I was expected to pay for the Wi-Fi (this for a three night stay where most meals will be eaten in, due to location). Just as I expect sheets on my bed, and cups of my coffee, I expect ALL hotels to provide free Wi-Fi to in house guests in the year 2017. But overall, thoroughly recommended for a chill out from Suva, with tours / water sports / diving available in house or close by.
