Nice stay, sorry about the parking.

The hotel was nice. I liked the historical feel of it. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that was annoying was that I had to pay for parking and didn't know it was a charge item until I was parked. Seems silly to have to pay to park at a place that I'm already paying to stay. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay.

Winchester old Gem

Really enjoyed the quick stay. Very well furnished old hotel in a historic part of Va. our room was very nicely fitted, beds were really soft and nice. Restaurant (downstairs) was not anything we’d want to comment on, except for the Oracle we heard and regaled. Lounge was lively,and Wednesday nite piano man was excellent! Original songs, some heading towards Mose Allison.Stay here.

Overall good just one issue I can’t pass over

Bed sheets were stained. Other than that the stay was an average hotel stay in a unique location and interesting architecture.

Room for improvement

I was surprised to see the desk clerk not wearing a mask, and not asking guests to either, especially after seeing all the many posted signs informing guests of the strict requirement. It made me wonder how seriously the hotel cleaned the rooms. Also, the very noisy heating system vibrated so much, I felt I had spent the night on a plane. It did, however, cancel much of spouse’s snoring, so it wasn’t a complete loss. With a few tweaks, this well located and somewhat characterful hotel could be a hit.

Crapper, literally

Sink stopped up. It was super obvious as soon as you turned on the water? Commode stopped up, after using it. Nasty aftermath. Bed has 4 wooden squares in each post. Stubbed my toes 3 times. Tiles cracked and glued. Shower head cheap and water pressure was not great Ordered a burger from the reataurant, it was good but they ignored what i orderes and gave me what they had. Wings tasted like plain texas pete. Never ever stay there again, had problems last time too. Terribly managed. Eveining pictures. Claimed they had no maintenance.

Excellent Hotel

Hotel was excellent. Super clean and comfortable. It is one block away from the Old Town Winchester. To bad everything was closed on a long weekend Sunday. So the town was very boring.

Escape to the hills!

Loved the room, and how close it was to the downtown walking mall! Made a wonderful relaxing getaway from the big city!

Amazing!

Had to stay for a single night on a trip, around $100 total for one night in a very very nice and clean room. Staff was very nice and treated us well even though it was late at night and then early in the morning. Would stay again if I have to make the same trip!!
