Just OK but great location

Pros: grounds were very nice and so close to the waterfalls and a cite cafe (honeymoon cafe). The service was good and the staff were very nice. Also liked the breakfast. Cons - The bed was just ok and very small, and the AC in the room kept going on and off and we got VERY hot. Overall room comfort wasn't so great since the property is old.

Good for price value and location

The hotel has been renovated but still has an older feel to the place. Wish the carpets were removed when renovating as the carpets give an old smell. When asked for iron set, the hotel said the iron was broken which seems to indicate then that they only have one iron... But for the price and location, overall good value.

amazing

Hotel was pretty amazing. I was skeptical at first after reading all the reviews but it turned out great. Staff was great. Great outdoor area. Palm trees. They also have a fish pond. It a great experience

I have stayed at this hotel a few times since around 2012. The WIFI set up in this hotel is the worst. I know you are not suppose to spend your whole time in the hotel when you go on "vacation" but there are those times when you need to do some work, read the news, video conference with family etc, but the reliability of the WIFI is horrible. The CEO of KAL talks about why they don't have WIFI on their aircraft "we don't want to disappoint our customers" - well this hotel is on the ground and it still is unreliable. Overall, the location is perfect, the hotel is always clean, the staff is excellent and the view extremely awesome.

Was advertised as a discounted rate however was the regular rate. Property is quite dated compared to the new looking photos.

Room looks different from photo.

Pros: - Airport limousine stops right at the doorstep Cons: - Dirty blanket - Room looks different from expectation - Staff did not have a good command of English - Aircon does not work well - Not all rooms have good wifi connection Details: Housekeeping team did do room cleaning daily but some issues just can't be prevented if it is the hotel's system issue. Caught a house caterpillar in the room (people who are scared of insects should be mentally prepared before deciding to book this hotel, this insect looks terrifying). Blanket was dirty with patches of yellow seen when sunlight shines through it. Room looked disappointingly different from what was seen in the photos on hotels.com. Counter staff did not have a good command of English. There is no Wifi connection with our room number tagged to it. I feel like a Wifi thieve who has to tag on to other room's wifi all the time. Aircon did not work on the last day of our stay and the hotel staff mentioned that it was due to central aircon system maintenance. So... I am suppose to deal with the heat in a supposedly 4/5 star hotel? These issues are not expected of a 4/5 star hotel. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Location was rather convenient with the airport limousine bus stopping right outside the entrance.
