Prospector Hotel and Casino

I travel solo with my dog to visit family. The Prospector is my favorite place to stay in Ely. Always friendly, welcoming, and very dog friendly. The food at the onsite restaurant is really good too!

Was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and was equipped with a fridge, microwave and safe. There was also nice soap, shampoo, lotion and even a toothbrush and toothpaste. The rubber duck was a cute touch. Planning on staying here again later this year.

Booked through Hotels.com and got a room that was pet friendly, that was all fine and dandy until the dog next to us Yapped for hours as the owners would come, check on it then leave again for hours to go down the hallway to gamble. THEN the people above us must’ve not believed in sleep as they were up walking around Constantly, which would've been fine if the roof didn’t sound like it was going to come caving in on top of us with every step they took! Seriously could hear them walk to the bathroom, pee, flush and then walk back to the bed. FOR HOURS this went on. Staff was friendly, Hot Tub doesn’t work and I can honestly say that I’ll never book here again.

Nice comfortable stay. Will definitely revisit if back in town.

Great place except for the smoke. Walking to the room and restaurant and having to go through the casino was hard as I have severe allergies to smoke.

The attendants checking us in were friendly, professional and pleasant. The room was nice and comfortable and we ate at the Mexican Restaurant on site and would highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak (wouldn't think that at a Mexican restaurant) but it was great. Would highly recommend this to travelers.

Super friendly staff dog friendly enjoyed free drinks an food was ok

Friendly, helpful service. The room was dark and the lights were too dim to be able to work. The beds were great.

My only concern was that people in casino paid little attention to social distancing.
