Read before staying...

Room and resort is amazing, can’t fault it at all. However, upon checkout the hotel manager accused us of losing a key card and wanted to charge us 1,500 THB! He was adamant he gave us two keys as he had this written down on a scrap piece of paper and laughed at us trying to argue our case. Eventually he gave up on his pursuit of extra money and let us go. Be very careful on this scam and make sure you get evidence of deposit/amount of key cards you have. Horrible man.

A lovely stay in Karon Beach.

This is my second stay at this hotel and I love it. It’s clean, safe, convenient to beach and markets, the staff is lovely.

Smallish hotel but rooms are large. Located near all amenities: beach, shops, food areas and places of interest.

Location, location, location!

The location is perfect. Flat road and walking distance to amazing day spas, restaurants, shops and bars. Plenty of transport available. It’s an extremely short walk to the beach. I highly recommend a pool access room. Apart from breakfast and the pool, we didn’t use any of the resort’s facilities.

Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa was ideally located. Just across the road from the beach and family friendly. The decor is a bit dated but there are ongoing renovations to modernise the look of the resort. The family suite was very spacious and relaxing. We found the WiFi a bit patchy - on several nights it just "died" and I had to pay [a daily charge] for my mobile provider to give me data in Phuket so I could hotspot it to my family for their video streaming. Luckily 4G coverage is pretty good on mobile phones. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. The main reception desk staff could do with a better level of English, but it was just about manageable (on the brink of getting frustrating) but to be their English is much much better than my Thai. Rooms were cleaned daily - unless indicated not to - and toiletries/water were replenished frequently. We had an all-round excellent stay, relaxing and family friendly.

On arrival ( Approx 1am ) the 2 guys at the were excellent and got us checked in quickly and got us to our room and went through where everything was. Next morning greeted with a lovely team down in the dining area for breakfast. Big thank you to you all for your wonderful and efficient service. Even though we were told renovations were being done to the resort, minimal disruption. Can't say thank you enough for our stay and we would recommend the Karon Sea Sands Resort to anyone who would ask us for a great place to stay :)
