Upmarket, great location

Lovely floor to ceiling windows with a view over the city. Fab room and we enjoyed a drink on the 23rd floor too. Breakfast also good. Only downside was the lack of decent coffee and milk provided in the room but nothing new there.

My stay was good thank you. No hand sanitizer as you enter the hotel reception area of entry to the restaurant. However, Lana Banana was a ray of sunshine and was so friendly and helpful. She brightened my breakfast each morning.

Overpriced poor service dated room

There was a queue at check in took 25 minutes they checked us in with the wrong name then didn’t ask if we had parked. I had to ask for the parking QR code but then it didn’t even work so we had to pay full price ! The room was basic and dated for the price we paid and the view was of an industrial building roof. We came back to our room at night and it was freezing the air conditioning unit would not work. I think the hotel was overpriced and poor. We made a booking for cloud 23 which we were then told wasn’t there we were put in a separate area not main bar

Cleanliness

The hotel itself on the ground floor and cloud 23 is very impressive, our room however was not. As soon as we walked in it smelt damp and musty. We were only staying one night so decided we would report it on departure. However when we returned from a day in the city and one of us had a shower, we possibly found the issue as the bath was not draining meaning we were showering in dirty water upto our ankles! We reported this to reception as only one of us could have a shower and asked if it could be looked at while we were out. When we came back the water was still in the bath. Very disappointing when spending a lot of money just for a room and can’t even have a bath or shower.

Okay, nice staff, cold hotel

The room was fine, fairly standard, nothing special about it really. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very cold though, drafty when sitting in the bar and when eating breakfast in the restaurant. We turned the heating in our room up high and it did slowly get a little warmer!

Think you pay for the location

A great location but the rooms are overpriced. They look tired and in need of modernisation to warrant the cost.

Seven out of 10

Overall good. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly but sadly room a little dated. Televison hanging off bracket which i fixed. No extra pillows heatimg was either full on or off. Little dissapointed or the money 7 out of 10
