The James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast

So welcoming and wonderful place to stay. Loved it

Received a warm welcome from the new owner/hosts of this Inn which we were using as a stopover for one night.Our room was comfy and spotlessly clean,and,following a good nights sleep we were presented with an excellent Breakfast,the sconesbaked by Bill were some of the best we've eaten,and that is a big compliment having years of experience of Cream Teas in Devon/Cornwall in the UK.Our visit at James Place was relaxing and full filling(Breakfast that is).We would recommend heartily to anyone visiting Freeport to stay at this Inn.

Walking distance to shopping and dining. The staff went out of their way to help us. They were extremely social. The room was clean and breakfast delicious.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The decor was lovely. There’s a full breakfast each morning. Our hosts, Marianne and Bill were so nice. The only drawbacks to our room was the floor creaked significantly in one area of the room and it would wake one of us up if the other got up. Also, the kitchen was on the other side of our wall and I would be awakened around 7 in the morning hearing breakfast being made I would recommend a second floor room for that reason.

Great location and room, innkeepers are very welcoming, great place overall.

Our stay at the James Place Inn was relaxation at its best. It sits on a quiet street and has a lovely deck where we enjoyed delicious, homemade breakfasts and coffee in the mornings and several glasses of wine in the evenings. The innkeepers, Maryann and Bill, are gracious, lovely hosts who are friendly and welcoming and more than happy to provide a suggestion of where to eat or things to do. The Wisteria room was beautiful from the furnishings and size to the comfortable king bed. It was the perfect location for our trip to Maine.

Nice location in freeport. Spacious and clean room with nice hot tub. Very nice and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast!

The location of this inn is fantastic. You are within walking distance to all of the outlet shops and restaurants. The inn keepers are very friendly, and the daily breakfast is more than ample and delicious.
