La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Belton - Temple South

The entrance and downstairs hallway are currently under renovations. It is stripped down to the bare bones of cement floors and drywall. The pool and hot tub are unavailable due to the renovations. Our room was clean, but they might as well update the rooms too after the other renovations are done. When walking down the hall to ask the clerk if we could use the pool, a guy asked us to help him with the room key to his room. My daughter tried to help him, but thank goodness the door didn’t open. My mind immediately thought it could be part of a sex trafficking operation so I just yanked on my daughter’s shirt and said, “Let’s go!” and we walked to the entrance of the hotel. Maybe it was innocent, but he needed to get help from the hotel staff...not us.

Hotel under construction. Being completely remodeled so it was very noisy.

The hotel is under construction. We had to walk over debris, plastic sheeting and there was dust everywhere

Was absolutely disgusting food in the night stand drawers, hair all in the shower, sheets were disgusting, dusty as hell

Hotel is under renovation but we had a very loud whisper from the window all day and night. Wasn't horrible overall. Good for the price.

Hotel is under construction, and appears to have been under construction for a very long time. The rooms have zero insulation; the paint is chipped on every door, wall, and corner. Needs TLC and basic upkeep.

Location was ok. Hotel was going through remodeling. All of 1st floor was in a disarray. Disappointing but front desk lady was pleasant and very apologetic for the disarray.

It was very nice.

So nice i stayed twice!!!
