San Francisco Plaza Hotel

This could be the hotel for you depending upon what you are looking for. The hotel building itself is a beautiful somewhat grand old lady. The staff was warm and helpful. They have a restaurant that served the standard fare. The rooms were not created equal. Our room had new finishes with a beautiful bathroom and a shower that actually had decent water pressure. However, there was no closet, nowhere to hang up clothes, the bed uncomfortable, the sheets paper thin, tv didn't work, the locks were fussy and it took about 20 attempts to get into the room. My brother's room had old finishes but a rather grand room but the shower just spit and also locks that didn't work well. None of the rooms had plush amenities such as a hair dryer. They had the worst towels that were so threadbare they belonged in a rag bag. Management should hit a JC Penney white sale and spring for some new towels. If you are looking for a clean, friendly place where there are mostly Mexican nationals this is the place for you. If you are looking for a plush hotel rich with amenities try somewhere else.

The staff was very helpful and my room was very spacious. About the only thing that I can complain is that the beds mattresses are a little hard, but we still we able to rest well. We loved this place and if we ever go back we will choose thus hotel. We send thanks to all the stafffor been very helpful.

enjoyed staying there very much. The staff was gracious in all areas. Resturant, front desk, maids and bell person made my stay very easy. Loved the oldness and the plants, and birds, very large clean rooms. Heard the neighborhood was a little rough, but I call it charming. Only one block to a main street with plenty of shopping and sightseeing. Always a cab around. I think I have found my new second home. I am a single women and felt very safe in the hotel and walking around town. I just wish they had a bar. or liquor on the property but there is one across the street that looked like fun and welcoming.

El hotel está muy bonito y La atención es excelente; cubre las necesidades básicas Para pasar una o dos noches. El hotel ofrece tours a precios accesibles, no los tome con ellos pero es bueno saber que los pueden tomar directamente ahí. Las camas son un poco dura; si el tema de las camas es importante para ti definitivamente este no es el hotel para ti. por otro lado aunque las sábanas están lavadas se pueden apreciar manchas pequeñas de sangre y es algo que definitivamente no quiero ver en mi almohada. El hotel tiene como tolerancia de ruido hasta las 10pm pero si tienen grupos grandes les dan tolerancia hasta más tarde; en mi estancia me toco un grupo grande y se les dio hasta media noche; algo bueno fue que a media noche se les pidió guardar silencio y el grupo respeto el límite. El GRAN pero que le pongo es la zona. Ciertamente la distancia a puntos importantes es excelente, pero la zona se siente un poco peligrosa ya qué hay muchos hombres a los alrededores del hotel y no es para menos ya que a los alrededores del hotel por la tarde noche puedes ver a SEXO SERVIDORAS en las calles. Las chicas no te hablan pero el ambiente es pesado y se siente inseguro.
