Hotel Macià Real de La Alhambra

The hotel is a bit outside the city centre however, city centre is just 25 minute walk from the hotel. The property is very close to Alhambra which is a big plus. They have good Arab baths in the hotel itself that relaxes one after day long walks around the city centre, Alhambra, Albaicin and Sacromonte. I personally prefer modern walkin shower enclosures over old school bath tubs and all their rooms are only with bath tubs. Beds are hard and comfy although pillows aren't. Staff at the hotel is excellent and overall a good VFM property that is close to key locations in Granada.

The property was clean fit for purpose. I loved the mountain view it was unique and magic. However, I did not like the fact that the bathroom radiator was not working, hence the bathroom was cold. I also prefer the duvets better than the heavy blankets.

What a great place at a reasonable price. Only four stops from yesterday Alhambra and a twenty minute downhill walk down. Room was great, staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Very clean and bright place. Wonderful staff. Easy access to downtown & Alhambra. Breakfast was not very good for price.

Very nice hotel. Good bus service to historical shopping district (1.8€). However expect to pay 13€ for taxi from/to train station. Note: hotel location in Google Maps and Expedia is wrong.

Great service, good location to go to the Alhambra. Well conected to city centre

It took a long time for our rooms to be ready and when we finally got the keys, they didn’t work in the doors and had to go from the 6 th floor to ground floor TWICE to get key cards that worked! The following morning at 9:30 the maid walked straight into our bedroom whilst we were in bed to clean it which was not acceptable. On checking out I asked if they had charged all extras (€23 cafeteria bill) to our room and the receptionist said yes. Two hours later I proceeded to receive phone calls on my Irish mobile telling me that I had left without paying a bill, which is not what had happened at all. We were treated poorly and everything was very disorganized and it was very disappointing.

Liked the location and the parking. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
