Oban Inn

Close to the beautiful downtown area. Gorgeous neighbourhood.

Clean, semi friendly front desk didn't deal with social distancing nor did they inform me of any additional charges. They said there would be sanitizer in the room, there wasn't but that's ok, we brought our own but thats what was advertised. These are uncertain times, would have perhaps expected a bit friendly view on things given the industry is struggling but clean, comfortable for the most part, easy parking. Didn't try any other ammenities so canlt comment.

Wonderful hotel with 9 hole golf course across road. Nice to have a balcony. Easy to walk 2 blocks to main street.

My spouse and I stayed in a suite with 1 queen bed for $165 CDN per night for 2 nights. Great location that is walking distance to the main strip of shops and a short drive to all wineries. The room was probably 11ft x14ft at most. No windows, just a door to a balcony that was locked shut. Fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night. Otherwise, the room and hotel itself are very clean and staff is very professional.

We just had the most magical stay at the Oban Inn. We opted for the Premium King with Fireplace and we were in heaven the whole time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Plus the dinner we had in their restaurant was simply outstanding. I am already trying to find a time to go back.

Everything was good, except for the walls. Really thin walls. For the amount you charge for the rooms, investing in a couple of extra sheets of drywall and some rockwool, would go a long way in reducing the noise. And maybe improving the doors a bit too.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming for our stay!

It was our first time visiting Niagara on the Lake, it was beautiful. Oban Inn was very charming, clean and close to everything. The staff was extremely efficient and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again!!

We recently stayed at the oban inn for the first time. I don’t think I would recommend or return again. It did not meet the price ($500 a night). The hotel itself was dirty and unkept (cobwebs in the sunroom on the light fixtures) our room hadn’t been dusted, bathroom was outdated and it looked like there was dried blood or snot (EW!) on the curtains in our room. we did also make a breakfast reservation and were not seated for an hour after our initial reservation time. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating with an early check in and they organized champagne in our room. Location was also fantastic! Not sure if it was just our room and the breakfast room that had the cleanliness issues but overall we had a fine experience!
