Great place

We love this place for our stop over on our trip back home from Arizona. It is quiet, well appointed with all the features we like, very clean and so convenient for restaurants and fuel. The staff is great and very responsive.

This was one of our worst hotel experiences ever. We reserved through Travelocity, and selected the option to pay at the property. They gave our room to someone else because "we had not paid in advance". So we got stuck in a horrible, smelly, stinky smoking room that reeked. It was 11:30pm and we had traveled 5 hours and we thought we had a guaranteed room. It was horrible.

The location and price were very convenient for my needs. Staff was friendly. Breakfast options were only ok (no low carb at all, only waffles, cereal, bread and donuts) and would have loved to see some fresh fruit. Older building and there is definite wear and tear that could be spiffed up. The bathtub had cracks in it and the plug wouldn't hold water so a bath wasnt an option. Over all it was good.

The lady at the front desk was so rude and talked down to me upon check in. For being in the military and serving my country I’ve never had someone be so rude to me. I will never stay at this place again

Check in was down because of computer issues I understand, The second day I had to rush to be with my dying mother cause the the doctor called us all in. He wasnt sure I would make it in time to KCMO.The raciest woman behind the counter manager or something comes from the back with an attitude.Says what do you want? I needed my key recarded so I could enter my room.She (Indonesian woman) the manager started yelling at me like I was her child. She said your cat needs to get out of the room. I said on the site it says you welcome pets. she said dogs only, I said it says both! so of course she went in to change the wording on the website to say dogs only. She commented how we Americans think we own this country and we need to wake up! I was in shock. I simply said I dont have time to argue with you're uneducated self.My mother is dying and I need to leave, her response I am sure your mother isnt dying so stop lying. Well my mother died an hour later. I was waiting on the cleaning crew. one came in and cleaned the bathroom, them the other two showed up to clean, wouldnt enter the room. I just look at them and say whats wrong as they stand there starring into space. They didnt speak a word of english. they pointed at my cat shaking. So I went to check out the same woman jumps me again says the cat needs to go. I said why were they scared I was there? she said get out. I said bad review. she said who cares your one person. no one cares what you say. Ill overcharge your card! LOSER
