The Relais Henley

Lovely hotel in a great central location by the river and close to all amenities in Henley. Good size rooms with beautiful bathroom and all decorated to a good standard. Staff very polite and helpful.

Great stay

The Relais is an amazing hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious.

Generally good, nice room. Service was attentive and kind but errors were made. Breakfast not worth the price. Car parking was expensive, especially given it was a 5 minute walk away.

Over sold room

The staff were lovely but we were told the room was a riverside suite and really it was the size of a standard 4 star hotel room - no bath in the bathroom and no mini bar facilities window small to look at river over road - think for 450 this was very expensive for what it was and a bit mid sold - we took four rooms in the hotel that night and seems imperceptible differences but others half the price - I didn’t complain as it was my husbands birthday but really wasn’t that impressed

The perfect little gem.

Perfect little gem of a hotel. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The restaurant has a varied menu the fish cakes are to die for.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Henley

My husband and I stayed here for just one night for our wedding anniversary. It is a beautiful, old hotel that has been newly renovated. Our room was large with a huge king size bed. The bathroom was stunning with a roll top bath and very powerful rainfall shower within it. There was an Illy coffee machine in the room and tea making facilities. Breakfast was included in the room rate and you could choose anything off the menu. This included granola, pancakes with berries, eggs benedict/florentine/royal, sourdough with smashed avocado, full english. What we had was very good. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating, however service was very slow at breakfast. We didn’t park the car at the hotel car park as it was an extra £20 for the night and off site, we chose to park it in a car park up the road for £10. With quite an expensive room rate I think parking should either be included or at least a bit cheaper. Our room had a partial view of the river (see photo) and the hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Henley, we would definitely stay here again.
