Nice hotel per se. Problem is geological. High on a cliff as are many places there. Despite shuttles and a few elevators.you have to walk and walk and to dome large walk. There also is no beach. . ..just a platform to large rocks. Beautiful .? Yes. Service and Management? Outstsnfing.

Loved the location amazing views, pool side staff and bar very friendly and helpful. the hotel pool looks like it needs a re vamp or maintaining better. The room was nice although didn’t feel too safe at night from the way the balcony was locked. Heard someone try at get in. Was going to mention this on check out but then found myself in a battle with them saying we owed 70 euros. We had eaten in the restaurant at a total of 41 Euro and a bottle of water from the room fridge. Didn’t have to pay the magic 30 extra in the end but wasn’t the best check out experience. We stayed to go to the club on the Saturday night for my birthday the club was great and best to stay here if you are going as it’s a great walk or drive without. Taouramina itself is amazing. Beautiful!

Spa stop

My friend & I got a really good deal , so value for money was excellent , however if I was paying full rates I would be not so pleased . Overall the staff were excellent , super helpful , nothing too much trouble . Room very clean & the views are stunning ! The spa was beautiful , the rest of the hotel was s little ‘tired ‘ and ‘run down ‘ but it did not affect our stay , the stafff and location made up for that ! I would definitely revisit as a B & B hotel

Loved the location, views, and pool area. Staff were very helpful. The pool area needed some attention. Had to find towels and pool need a bit of a clean.

Over rated, good location but noisy, could hear all other rooms. Average food quality at buffet and if u r breakfast only it’s Cheaper to get a good meal in local restaurants than the 35£ pp in hotel. The pontoon area is a risk hazard but the sea is amazing.

We arrived at check-in time and our room was still not available. We were told to come back in 30 minutes and it would be be available. When we returned over 1 hour later, it was still not available. It was close to 2 hours post check-in time before we got to the room. The staff was very pleasant.

Great location and views

The hotel is in a great location about 20 minutes drive to the beautiful Taormina and surrounding areas. As others commented, it is however rather dated and everything is just a bit tired. The pool area is great and the area by the beach is lovely and very peaceful as the pool area is great for children so rather noisy. As a warning there are a lot of stairs and steep hills to climb but worth it for the views. The bar by the pool has a lunch menu which is rather limited and I think could be extended and the quality of the food improved. The staff were all very nice and helpful and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel have to much steps to the main reception

The hotel are not so good rooms are far from beach ,restaurant and main reception. Pool is not well cleaned. Dinner buffet is always the same food and not great choice. And the Service are slow.Breakfast is most cold food even the fry egg we are desapointed with our experience in this hotel Front desque provided a very bad service too slow and only two people speak English

deceptive and expensive

This hotel is more of a resort and despite claiming it is in Taormina it’s actually nearly 9km from there ... and far from everything else including a beach. You’d need a car to eat outside of the resort and food in the resort is crazy expensive. Dinner is 35 Euro per head from a pretty average looking buffet plus alcohol that is charged at a premium. Day one we had a pannini and a ham and cheese roll plus two aperol spritz which set us back 30 Euro. Compare that to prices that averaged about 5-8 for a spritz in Taormina proper and you get an idea of the way they treat a captive audience. It’s not deadful and it is clean, but I wouldn’t do it again.

Isolated location and lots of steps to climb

Overall not to bad not really 4star they have a disco on most Saturdays were ther are thousands of teens partying the water front location for swimming is not safe for children breakfast and the tv were not aimed at British travelers ok for visiting sorrounding area and has ample parking
