Disappointed

I have used this chain in the past and was always happy with it. This time around was a totally different experience. The staff was very friendly. Due to COVID they were some reasonable adjustments. When we checked in we were offered to choice of a snack and drink of our choice from a very well stacked and diversified options. The walls are very thin. I could hear the guests next door behind the headboard speak until about 2am. Then before 7am, the steps from the above guests and the water coming down from their room through the walls. The different alarms from different rooms on the floor one at 7:30am, one at 8am. I was planning to take a relaxing bath but the plug was missing. They only had shampoos as toiletries. A very disgusting and filthy bible in the drawer. My key cards didn’t work after I checked in when I asked the attendant stated that since I was due to check out that day the card automatically « died » but I had reserved only one night. 🤔 that really didn’t make sense. So I’m expected to go in the room once and then leave and not go back to retrieve my belongings without going to ask the front desk for new cards. Breakfast was a brown lunch bag with an orange juice, small water bottle, a cereal bar and a store bought small muffin. The attendant referred me to the McDonald’s right across the hotel. I wish they would have gave a voucher because my first criteria was to have breakfast included in my stay since I was traveling with my children.

Family trip

You can tell the the hotel has recently been renovated but it still had a smell of cigarettes. Not bad enough to want to leave. Everyone was friendly and the hotel was clean. No continental breakfast due to Covid but pleanty of places to get breakfast close by.

Cigerettes and room renovations

The staff was friendly but the hotel was torn up for renovations. The room was slapped together hastely and someone smoked in it while they worked. I stayed here before and it was a 5 out of 10. This was a gross and disgusting experience, mangement needs to inspect rooms and areas to stop people from smoking and leaving trash places. They tossed some towels in the bathrooms everything was a mess coffee tossed around, hair in tub and sink, toliet paper stuck to wall for some reason. Best part of this room was the abilty to partially open the window with no screen to let some of the fresh cigarette smell out. I think we will skip this place next time we are driving through, they should have never rented this room as it was not to par, someone was being greedy.

First the toilet wasn’t working and the television wasn’t working had to get them moved to a new room two times call to speak to a manager the lady on the phone said the manager doesn’t come in until 10 o’clock because there’s no way I should be paying full price for 70% of what is advertised

Pathetic hotel to stay.

pathetic service. Bloodstain on pillow covers. Cigarette burns on the bed covers. Moulds on the shower curtain. Pathetic hotel to stay.
