Grand Oasis Palm All Inclusive

All staff offered excellent service. At arrival, they took our temperature, filled out a health form and was required to wear a face mask. In this time of pandemic, it was unfortunate to see many people, after feeling comfortable at resort, not wearing their face mask and I noticed that the staff did not say anything to those people.

Where to start. The staff are awful. The property is run down. Burger King and NYC hot dog vendors were infinite times better than any of the food they served. it was by far, hands down, the most unedible, toxic, old, rotten, food I have ever experienced. there are no restaurants close by and you will be stuck starving rather than touching thier food. I though, maybe at least it would be a fun hotel. WRONG. The "club" was empty, only old families were there. If you care about COVID precuations, they dont. the beach is nice. but in order to get one of the chairs or beds you needed to have gotten this extra bracelet that i dont think they offer americans. We asked very nicely if it would be possible to lounge on a chair for a bit and they said not and then called security on us. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM Once thier staff started physically assaulting one of my friends, we decided it was time to leave depsite having days left on our reservation. unfortunately their checkout process took over 2 hours, and they physically prevented us from leaving despite us having no outstanding bill. IN SUM, there is literally 0 possible reason to stay here or any Grand Oasis hotel. Everything is wrong about the place, as this is the worst hotel I have ever been to

The food was not good. More of a kids resort. Only had 2 available pools. “Free WiFi” but only two people per room can have the access code.

Not meet my expectations... the buffett is horrible and you have to do recervation for the others restaurants, beach is dirty and and the water is not clear as the pictures, although the staff is nice but definitely i wont pick this hotel again

The hotel was very nice , staff was attentive and friendly, they clean our room every day , restaurants offer really good food

I wanted to get a bigger room as it was expected when reserved, they said all rooms are same size and I should recall my agent which was impossible as it will international call . Then finally after a lot of arguing they agreed to move me to better not bigger room , also they insisted to put me in the older building and say that the newly one is for adults only which was a lie as later I saw a lot of families with kids stayed there

Rooms

It was very nice and you could snorkel at the beach some days. The hotel took safety very seriously. The nationals who were staying there would not. They would constantly try to crowd the elevators without masks and didn’t care about social distancing In the least. In pools too. We ended up taking the stairs most days and found the resort had a second secluded pool. This made the vacation safe and low stress.

There wasn’t a lot of food options. I don’t eat seafood and there was a lot of seafood. Thankfully they switch up the food everyday but my first night there was rough considering there was only seafood. Many of the restaurants require that you come at 4:00pm and make a reservation for the night.

I liked the restaurants. Service can use some help. However, just waiting for your room can be a pain. They would not give us our keys 30 minutes before check in. They told us come back at 3 and we need, we didn’t get our rooms until four. They need scanners or a photocopier in the lobby so they don’t have to disappear for 20 minutes making a freaking copy. Lobby was hot and my wife was about to loose it since we have a one year old. In addition the two rooms we stayed at had leaks. Probably would not go back to this place even though the food wa great!
