Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Ocala Conference Center, an IHG Hotel

Due to covid things for different I am sure. For example the bar and restaurant were not available. It seemed very confusing at check-in. Otherwise the bed was extremely comfortable and amenities were fine.

This is a very nicely decorated hotel in the interior common areas. However, the rooms need a facelift. Not sure if it was a stinky disinfectant or just smelly cleaners, but our room (#325) smelled of old drugs combined with off-brand 'freshener.' For some odd reason we were issued a handicap room that we did not need or request. Inside the bathroom was a super cheaply installed plastic shower stall with poor water flow and no door. The room was painted a cheery blue color, but the texture of the walls collected dust in many areas. The carpet was old. Lastly, there were 4 fire alarm/sprinkler things on the wall of the bedroom, a sprinkler in the foyer, and two fire things inside the bathroom. Seems like overkill, maybe? The 'free' breakfast consisted of milk or coffee, an apple, a sugary cereal or oatmeal or a soggy egg and cheese muffin- yuk! The three reasons I did not give the hotel a sad face poor rating is 1)the staff were all nice and helpful, 2)the new foam beds are extremely comfortable, and 3)I have stayed in the hotel many times pre-Covid, and HOPE that these issues will be addressed in a timely fashion so I may be enticed to book here again in the future.

Place was clean but in need of some work in bathroom. Had a lizard there as well, staff removed it quickly and we were thankful!!! Otherwise I hope we get our deposit refund?

I was happy with the hotel until a huge cockroach ran across the bathroom counter. Will not stay again.

We love this location. We have stayed here twice while driving to Miami from Atlanta. It is very clean and everyone is very nice. The only downside is the lack of sidewalks going to Sam's Club but that isn't this hotel's fault. LOL We will stay here again for sure!

Memory foam mattress! OMG it was absolutely wonderful’

The hitel is very nice. Clean, well decorated. Suite bath was very small for 3 adults- other than that- great location too. We only stayed one night.

This hotel was comfortable and clean. My experience booking with Hotels.com was a very bad experiencr.

It was an excellent hotel! Very clean and wonderful accommodations!
