Holiday Inn Aberdeen West, an IHG Hotel

Excellent hotel

Excellent customer service which was noticeable from the moment we entered. Staying in a suite for two nights as a family of 3 we made the most of breakfast and tea on site. In each department staff were approachable, helpful and went out their way to make each member of my family feel welcome including my 4 year old son. We all slept amazingl and the room was spacious, clean and had all the essentials required for our stay. The hotel was easily accessible via car and there was no issue for parking. I would defiantly recommend and stay again.

Nice base

I had a pleasant stay here for 2 nights while visiting friends. Bed very comfortable and the pillows. Staff very friendly. Will definitely use again. Handy wee shopping centre just across the road where I got a bacon roll from Gregs for breakfast. I would have loved the breakfast in the hotel but I don’t eat a lot so a bit expensive for my needs.

Spot on as always!

As always, hotel was spotless, staff friendly, room immaculate and the food great. Stay here regularly and thats the reason why.

staff were in general very good but we had one issue went to shower and there was only teppid warm water phoned reception and a guy came up he came into our room according to the notice in the room he was not supposed to due to covid. I don't think he believed me. Saw the problem offered us another room at 10.45 on New years eve we did not move that night.

Stayed here on numerous occasions this year,always clean and plenty hand sanitizing,everyone wearing masks.Breakfast ,plenty choice and hot.Staff friendly and helpful.

single dad night away

Comfortable and clean, reception staff friendly and helpful, only couple of problems i had...heating wouldn't work (i don't like it too hot anyway so didn't bother me), empty shower gel in bathroom but i always take my own just in case so not bothered, tv channels were not very good and i couldn't even get the freeview channels i was looking for never mind the satellite channels it said on my booking but i must admit the breakfast was excellent and made up for it all for me.

the room rate was a good price our check in was delayed until after 4PM we did not have hot water for showering there was a sharp screw sticking out of the curtains

Extremely uncomfortable bed, no heating in room (no point asking for another room as they'd already tried to move us to another hotel before we arrived, to their credit they did let us keep the room) but very clean. Most of the staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. It's mainly the staff who make this place a good place to stay but sadly it wasn't really the experience I'm used to here. Also had problems in the restaurant one evening with one of our orders which was frustrating but the staff again were great. Maybe we were just unlucky as I normally love staying here.
