Berkeley Hotel & Day Spa

A very lovely modern hotel. We stayed in August 2020 during the corona pandemic. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The rooms and hotel are very clean as well as the pool area.

Everything was just perfect. The staff are amazingly friendly and treat you like a family member---nothing is ever too much trouble and they make you feel so welcome and relaxed. The standard double room was huge for just myself and I had a lovely balcony overlooking the swimming pool and harbour beyond. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and they maintain the building beautifully well. Great breakfast each morning and the main waitress (I can`t remember her name ) was an absolute delight with her friendly chatty relaxed character. Absolutely brilliant stay for 5 nights and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in beautiful Dubrovnik. Also, the location was fairly central with excellent bus route to the old city.

Our upstairs room had a nice balcony overlooking the water and the city below. The sunset view was stunning as it cast those red-gold shadows over the roof tops... you know the ones I am talking about! Breakfast was very nice, with the staff keeping the coffee cups full, a well-stocked buffet, and eggs prepared to order. Just two streets down to the pier, along steps and alley walkway. I recommend it if you're needing to be near the ports.

Stayed 2 nights, very comfortable bed with nice bedding. Amazing breakfast buffet with eggs caked to order in kitchen. Close to bus stop and restaurants and shopping. We bused a short distance to old town every day. A wonderful experience.
