Nice for a little weekend away, room was nothing special. But pool was nice and area is close to restaurants and the beach

The hotel is just old. Bathroom leaked and smelt, walls were paper thin so you can hear the conversation of the people in the next rooms, walls in the room had marks all over them.

A very clean and well maintained resort. The only thing is the parking first in best dress and if you have a big car if you can’t get a double length park you are in trouble

Entrace light unable to turn off. So light stuck on all night. Discovered this after midnight and to tired to address with management.Woke at 8am to noisy music was coming from restraunt downstairs. How anyone could enjoy breakfast over this noise is beyond me. So dissapointing. These 2 things really spoilt our stay. Everything else was ok. Very comfortable beds.

Nothing wrong at all just getting a bit tired but reception check in was great but next to and behind bedside table I found tissues and a dead cockroach.

My husband and I had booked in torquay to catch up with friends from interstate however they were unable to make it - decided to still go and had a lovely relaxing two night stay with perfect weather. I believe we were (incorrectly I suspect) upgraded to a one bedroom apartment in the second floor which looked out to the pool. We loved our apartment which was clean and comfy. A couple of cons:- reception staff didn’t seem to be overly confident or skilled - retained by license when checking in I tried to call down to reception numerous times to check and was left on hold for significant periods without getting through; piña colada’s at winkipops bar was strange - unlike any inhad ever had and not in a good way - and bar staff seemed stressed and confused when there were three people waiting. When at the gorgeous pool - each day there was a trio of loud and foul mouthed adolescent males jumping into the pool and generally wreaking havoc - my husband saw them sneak in from outside and believe they may have been local kids. Also lots of parents allowing kids to do bombs into the pool so needed to try and avoid those when I was having a splash. Did not appear to be any policing of behaviour at the pool. I realised I was overcharged and hadn’t been provided a bill - came out of my account after I checked out - no answer . When I was able to call a day later I was told that there would be a credit applied for my next stay and they could not refund to my card?
