Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ontario, an IHG Hotel

Consistently...good.

We have stayed at the Ontario Holiday Inn Express in the past and have never been disappointed. The motel is tucked just off the freeway and the Ontario exits are a bit confusing so use Google Map. Though close to the interstate, we have never heard road noise, once inside.

Would stay again

Front desk was super accommodating and helpful. The breakfast they serve is pretty good and has a really nice selection. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. Room was pretty quiet and I loved the black out blinds made me consider them for my own house because the sleep difference is awesome.

Overall Great Stay!! (only downside is the noise)

The room was very clean and had a more modern look. The bathroom mirror and counter were beautiful!! The tub/shower combo are pretty basic. The bed was very comfy, although the pillows were a little thin, but if you stacked two of them it was perfect! The only down side is that you can hear EVERYTHING, at night and in the morning. We were woken up hourly by loud laughing coming from a neighboring room, running in hallways and the people above us. Then, first thing in the morning, they start vacuuming. And it would be fine, but the walls are paper thin and they vacuum the hallway right in front of, and up to your door. So sleeping in past 8 is absolutely not an option, regardless of how late you arrived and were able to fall asleep. But breakfast was very good for having to follow COVID guidelines! There were a lot of options to choose from including, scrambled eggs and omelets, bagels, muffins, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, yogurt (Greek and regular), bacon and sausage, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, etc. Their pool is also open so that’s awesome!

Not enforcing covid rules at all

Stay was good, room was clean and the breakfast setup was well-designed to be safe during the pandemic. However, they were not enforcing the state’s mask mandate at all — even though there were signs everywhere asking people to wear masks when inside. I would say only 20% of guests during the 3 nights I was there were wearing masks and only 10% were wearing masks correctly. That’s why I gave them a low rating on cleanliness.

Clean and comfortable

The room was very clean and comfortable. The electric window shade was great and blocked all the light from outside.

Very clean. Comfy bed. We got the King Leisure room and it was very roomy with a chaise type chair, desk/chair. Breakfast was adequate for covid times. Cinnamon roll was delicious. The only down sides would be some traffic was heard from 3rd floor (our room faced the front of hotel) and we had some noisy neighbors coming and going til about 1:00am. Not the fault of the hotel however. I turned on the white noise fan from YouTube and slept great. Overall very comfortable and clean would definitely stay again.

will stay again

One can never go wrong with holiday inn and/or express in small towns such as Ontario. Location was near lots of things but due to the pandemic, Oregon is totally shut down which meant a quick drive over the Snake into Idaho where everything is open. All services were excellent, all staff very attentive and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean

Was not happy that they didn’t say the pool and hot tub were closed...honestly it was one of the main reasons we chose this one.
