Super 8 Darlington

First of all, staff was very helpful, answered our questions, helped us locate restaurants and local cheese factory that we had planned to visit. maid service was excellent. coffee available when we were ready for it. very nice facility. We had toured minah's brewery, winery and spirits. excellent. the scenery, weather and everything was very conducive for a nice 3 day get-away for us.

The first room we were assigned was filthy including urine on the toilet seat! The second room already had guests staying in it! The third was dirty but had to do as it was late and my daughter and I were tired. I wiped the bathroom floor with a wet wash rag (I always do this) and it turned black from the filthy floor! This hotel is in drastic need of a deep cleaning! It is gross!

We were told no pets when we arrived and we sat in our room and listen to a dog barking in the room above us. At 12:30 am it sounded like people were moving furniture around above us. Breakfast the waffle maker was broken and had little to no food selection.

Awesome room, clean, cool, everything perfect! And the restaurant next door was delicious! I enjoyed dinner and breakfast there.
