Sitting right on the Harbour front was fantastic. Amazing views.

WORST ROOM EVER - no way 4 star hotel

No receptionist - no one to pick up the phone Nasty dirty, shabby dark brown carpets in hall way No blinds/ nets at the patio doors so had to sit in the room with lights on for privacy.next door could see us on the bed when curtains open and as there was only 1 chair - that’s where we had to sit !!!! No bed side tables as the room was too narrow to fit them in Only one uncomfortable wicker chair in a room for two people No table No phone / no service No folder with house rules/ WiFi no./ breakfast times/ checkout info Had to stay under the duvet as room was soo cold Smallest TV ( 14 inch) for the smallest room Nowhere to put / open2 suitcases as under the bed was a spare pull out bed ( no room for that to open??!!) had to keep moving them out of the way to walk all of 2 steps from bed to door! The bathroom was THE WORST EVER SEEN!! Tiny hand basin could not wash face in as you would bang your head on the shelf above Nowhere to put toothbrush & paste Refused to use the smallest shower cubicle with fungus on tiles and very old electric shower once doors closed could not move inside!! No sanitary bags How do they get away with calling this 4 star??!! The only plus was the bed linen and towels were new and very white. The restaurant food & service was very good

Great Food

We had a lovely stay. friendly, amazing food. The only down fall was parking facilities, not any. Received parking penalty of £60 but that did not put a damper on our holiday.

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely.

Perfect location for walking into Newquay, Harbour, Fistral,Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne beaches. Breakfast was lovely, I would recommend the Granola but please give the bacon ago - that's lovely to 😉 Room compact, but big enough for me and the mrs - you dont spend to much time in any hotel room ?? Lovely view from the balcony, comfy bed, and powerful shower. Public parking available adjacent the hotel but limited to 5 spaces, there are more near by but could be a 5 minute walk if your unlucky.

Amazing view - amazing food

Overall a good stay . The restaurant is fantastic , food superb and outside view amazing . Rooms are very tired , cleanliness needs improving - dirty coffee cup found on balcony and bathrooms could have used a once over . The view from the balcony is the best in Newquay - the hotel is missing things like letting you eat on your balcony or offering any type of room service - not even a menu for the restaurant in the room
