Rodeway Inn & Suites On The River

It was fine for a one-night stay where we didn’t spend any time at the hotel other than sleeping. The lady at check-in was not friendly & barely said two words, but the young man at checkout was nice. Beautiful view of the river & good location in between downtown Cherokee & Bryson City.

Clean and very comfortable amenities. Beautiful river view from the balcony. Only drawback, if you have any member of your party that has difficulty climbing stairs, make sure to reserve room on the first floor because there is no elevator.

The staff was friendly and profession. The room was clean and bug free. I stayed in a room with 2 double beds. The hotel needs some cosmetic updates but this didn’t really make my stay less pleasant. They did not serve breakfast during my stay. The back porch area with the river view only had one plastic chair and no other furniture. The bathroom room area had a decent sized area where the sink is located however the location of the toilet and shower was extremely small. It served its purpose and everything functioned properly including the hair dryer. They provided plenty of towels, hand towels and wash rags. My room had one bottle of shampoo and 2 bars of soap. No hair conditioner or lotion. The tv only had local channels. I didn’t check on the pool area. The ice machines were close to my room but my ice bucket leaked. The beds were decent and I had no trouble sleeping. The room had a burning wood kinda smell in it. The location was great and easy to get in and out of. Over all I felt if you are looking for a no frills and very basic location that is affordable and I would recommend this location.

It was a very good experience for the price. We only stayed one night. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. Nice view of the river.

Staff was pleasantly efficient and helpful. Suite with river view is a must, so beautiful!

Overall satisfied with stay. Room a bit dated and run down but was very clean and comfortable. No riff-raff in the area, safe and very affordable. Enjoyed the sound and sight of the river with my morning coffee. Would stay again.
