Mainstay Suites

I like the food options that’s are walking distance. Otherwise this hotel smells bad. The rooms have typical bathroom scum and the curtains were stained. You get what you pay for.

We had a perfect stay during our visit. But there was dirt in the corners in the bathroom and spiderwebs The trashcan in the kitchen was dirty.

Overall, besides wear and tear, not a bad property. However, cleanliness wasn't awesome. The elevator was visibly dirty. Our room hhrooad minor things such as the bathroom needed cleaned, the carpet definitely needed a shampooing, we picked up a chuck of something off of the living room floor. When we asked staff for supplies, they made it seem like it was a chore to get them for us ( if you're going to be in the hospitality industry, then please be hospitable). My wife and I weren't looking for "the ritz" but we were definitely expecting better than what was delivered.

It was not clean at all. Their was nats and mold in the fridge. But the best was a open bag of chips in the cabinet and the used band-aid on the phone book in the bed side table. The floors were so dirt you could not take your shoes off. It was rated a 8 but it was like a 2. It was not cheap either. So if possible stay somewhere else. They had a sigh that said the if the room was not good they would refund some of the money but that was not true because I complain but nothing.

Sheets had stains on them. Lots of garbage throughout the hallway that needed to be collected.

The whole hotel stunk like cigarettes! The first room they put us in had other peoples items and trash all in the room. The second room seemed clean but the bathroom stunk like cigarettes! When we pulled back the sheets, there were crumbs in the beds. Gross!! We will never stay there again and you shouldn't either!

We stayed at the mainstay suites in Knoxville, Tn. The rooms were dirty. There were stains on the couch and floors. There was mildew on the walls and in the bathroom. We did not stay the night and now they are trying to charge us for it!! It is also situated right beside a Hooters restaurant and is not in a very good area of town.

Clean, spacious, everything you needed in a room.
