Hampton Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids - North

Nice, especially after traveling through a snowstorm.

It was fine. Not modern, not great beds, but friendly staff. No fridge or microwave is really inconvenient. Not a horrible experience but not your typical quality Hampton Inn. A few changes could make it better.

First room was a wheelchair-accessible room, and it was very noisy. Transferred to a normal king suite and was much better. Be aware, at the time of writing many of the rooms have plastic covering their windows in preparation for painting. Plastic flaps in the wind and makes a lot of noise.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean! I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Excellent location very nice people people. Room was in great shape.

No microwave or fridge in the room. Guests stayed outside playing loud music and drinking until 1 am on a Wednesday night. When i called the front desk to complain, i was told that they would try to say something to the participants

Mattress was very uncomfortable. Also discovered stain on mattress near my head. Mattress pad & bottom sheet kept pulling off mattress which is how discovered. Breakfast, because of COVID, consisted of muffins each day for 4 mornings. Other pre-packaged breakfast items available; would have been nice fir hotel to think outside the box (rather, outside the "muffin"). Wanted to extend stay by 1 night; advised by staff they were unable to assist since trip not booked directly through hotel. Stayed at different hotel for that extended night. Gave my business to different hotel willing to assist.

We had a great stay. The room we had was a studio queen suite very spacious for my family of 5. Everything was very clean and the staff were very kind. I would definitely stay here again.
