Everything was very nice about this place, but the location was absolutely amazing!

This is a very old building right next to the Uffizi Gallery and it’s front door opens right into a huge piazza. It’s a fantastic location and the room was quiet. You feel like an invited guest in a friend’s home. Lovely antique furnishings but clean modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Our room, the green room, was very spacious. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. FYI there is a large staircase you must climb to get to the elevator.

Location, location, location was perfect. The staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice and powerful. There are a few flights of stairs to the rooms, be warned. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have either fresh bread, a few meats, or a few cheese, or fruit. The only fruit offered were hard, sour kiwi fruit.

I was able to walk everywhere, even as you get out of the door, you’re already staring at certain art masterpieces. It is a very touristy spot so be prepared for the hustle and bustle outside. But inside is nice and quiet, like staying at someone’s private home. A historic one at least. The furnitures look like they belong in a museum. Highly suggest it here!so much to do around this neighborhood too, some really good gelato and sandwich places. So much to discover.

The room was a good size and very clean. Check in was easy, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and they were very accommodating with luggage even after we had checked out. The only issues were that we faced a small courtyard that was VERY loud (everything echoed through it) and the beds were pretty hard. However, being right in the middle of Florence made up for that.

The location is fantastic! Right in the middle of everything that is wonderful about Florence. Staying for five days in a ninth-century tower was magical. The hosts (owner Pamela and manager Simona) made us feel right at home, like we were friends visiting from afar. The common room with large table and kitchen was a great place to unwind after a long day. We were surprised the breakfast included in our rate was pre-packaged cereal, cookies, croissants and boxed juice and milk left in our room on a trolley, but this was fine, as we preferred to get fresh cappuccino and croissants at the local cafe and took the breakfast as snacks for our travels throughout the day. This place is a true gem.

It has pretty good location, close to main locations of interest in Florence. But notice that what you book in expedia as "city view" is actually a view to the roofs of other properties. Also, the pictures of the room are not necessarily the ones of the room that will be assigned to you. Breakfast is included, but is not a hot breakfast but some juices and cookies left at your room every day.

Excellent location! Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was also very friendly. Remember to call in advance to get info about arriving!!! Photo is morning view!!

Pros: Service was pleasant, and the location is fabulous, steps from the Uffizi Gallery. Large room. Cons: Stairs to get to elevator on 2nd floor. Dusty room. Breakfast is sub-par, better to buy it elsewhere. Don't sleep with the windows open because the Florentine Mosquitoes will eat you alive.

The hotel has a great location. Room was clean, nice and huge private bathroom. Nice little breakfast cart refilled everyday. Staff was very helpful, recommend.
