Great location. Near aquarium and beaches. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Hotel is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. We visited during the winter months so many shops were closed but we still had a great time.

We nearly didn’t stay here due to the mixed reviews. But the location near to the beach and the main town, the rooms were nice (a bit dated but fine for what we needed it for) with a big balcony. There wasn’t any air con but we didn’t find the room too hot when we stayed. The room was clean and enough space to move around in.

Great position close to both the beaches and town centre. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Excellent pool.

I liked the location, it was fairly central. Some of the staff were nice, others less so. It was up to 37°C and no air con. They don't clean the rooms AT ALL during the stay unless you buy half board. A fact they didn't bother to tell us until we asked why are room hadn't been cleaned. Also when we arrived the floor already felt sticky, a bit sandy, and there was a permanent puddle in the shower. Another thing they neglected to tell us was that they didn't provide extra loo roll. In fact when we asked after arriving one guy said we could have it, so when we came back on our last night to get it, we were told it wasn't provided. The swimming pool itself is ok, but the deckchairs were not clean (often covered in birdpoo), and you have to take your shoes/flip flips off, walk down stairs and through a small pool of gross, stagnant water to get to the pool area. The room itself was a decent enough size, and we did have a lovely view of the ocean. Probably wouldn't have minded the non cleaning and lack of essential supplies had we been warned in advance instead of finding things were unavailable piecemeal as we needed them.

Great view, good pool and bar area, nice studio, adequately equipped in an excellent location for beaches, shops and restaurants!

Central for everything

The hotel location is absolutely stunning: everything is walkable, sea view was amazing and the room was nice. My wife and I used this hotel as our base for our 5 days-trip to the Pays Basque and it was the right choice. Waking up every morning with such a view definitely helps starting the day full of energy. It seemed everything was reachable through a 5-min walk: city center, casino, "Rocher de la Vierge" , Vieux Port, any type of restaurants, supermarket, bakery. Staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. Lesson learnt (nothing to do with the hotel itself): Peaceful and quiet stay is not compatible with Wheels&Waves festival. Be aware of this event every month of June, it is fun to see during the day but really distrubing at night. Overall a great value for money, highly recommended hotel.
