Ardmore House Hotel

The breakfast and wait staff were very good however the room was very small with thin walls which lead to disturbed sleep every night. As much as I like listening to someone’s television through the wall at 4am I’d have preferred to be getting rest. On checking out the receptionist was very curt and refused to provide a receipt despite a copy of the receipt being in her hand. Having swiped my Caen on arrival in case of room charges I wasn’t overly happy about a refusal to provide a receipt on checkout, it doesn’t leave the best impression of the place. I got the feeling that guests were annoyance to her, in future I’ll find a hotel that are more welcoming to guests!

CONS: Bathroom sink so small you can't clean your teeth as shelf is in the way! TV intermittently working, sorry but nothing can be done. Can hear footsteps and noise from the room above. PROS: Good working radiators and very hot water.

Very comfortable,meal was excellent and the staff very helpful. If traveling through and need a stop over we would not hesitate to stay at the Ardmore.

Ok. Service was good, room was small but comfortable. Good value for money. Breakfast was excellent.

Room was clean, albeit dated but the double bed was tiny.

Decor was dated and room was small. Small double for two people not good enough when one is 6 ft .

Check in fine, WiFi good, hotel very dated, breakfast was poor as swimming in fat.

The bedroom was a bit small but otherwise very adequate and well furnished

Extremely rude staff

Hotel was a bit dated but good . Not very sound proof! Staff did not know how to use WiFi or tv’s properly and fobbed us off rather than try to find out properly. Breakfast was excellent
