Seabreeze Inn

For the price, I was shocked at how great this room is. I have travelled all across the east coast states, and stayed at many hotels. There are not many that have a 2-star price for a 4-star room. The Seabreeze is one of these jewels. Just a heads up for visitors...it is located next to a restaurant, so for a couple of minutes, the parking lot for the restaurant could get loud. But that is nothing to be held against the hotel.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Very good value for the price. Very comfortable beds with clean linens. Nice location. Excellent seafood restaurant right next door and a small, cute park next to the restaurant.

They only gave us 2 little sofa pillows for our king size bed. The tiki bar next door is the best thing about the place.

Not too friendly customer service. Husband was told to be sure and return all the towels used so they would know they hadn’t been stolen. This was actually said to him! Pretty noisy as it is next to a bar with live music. Room was very tight and the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke when we woke up the next morning. Very musty smell in the room.

Property was in a less desirable part of town. Not the best area. Also, the clientele was more of a weekly rental crowd. Not a family atmosphere at all. Will not stay here again. Rooms were clean enough but not enough to make us return.
