Hotel Hacienda Merida

I really didn't enjoy my stay here. The hotel felt run down. The curtains and lampshades had yellowing stains. The wifi was HORRIBLE and that was the whole reason I chose this hotel because I was working remotely and needed access to zoom but couldn't use zoom for my work and had to take a sick day so that a coworker could cover for me. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were paper thin that I was so cold at night. There was a vent in my bathroom where definitely some animal was nesting. I heard squeaks in the middle of the night. Would not recommend.

Beautiful hotel.

Alberto and his team were very helpful in giving directions and making suggestions. The rooms were clean and the hotel is within walking distance to the Centro and Paseo Montejo. Pool is a nice treat after a hot day.

Simply amazing! From the moment we walked into the hotel everything was perfect. Alberto was AMAZING. He speaks perfect English and was super attentive during our stay. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Merida. We will be back for sure!

The location was relatively close to the centre of the city - 10 minute walk but there are many hotels much closer to the centre. The hotel exterior, pool and small garden is gorgeous. The room is not luxurious, but has the basics and reminds me of a private room of a hostel. Would consider this hotel 3.5 stars.

This boutique was pretty amazing just on the edge of the historical central. Room was great and spacious just the air con was a bit old and noisy at night. Other than that it was great

The hotel is charming and clean. Some furniture in the common areas could benefit from a little makeover. Unfortunately the service was almost nonexistant. The staff present, although nice, did not seem trained to cater to the guest. Every thing took forever. Besides that the place is nice and well located.

I am so in love with this place. We stayed twice during our stay to Mexico. From the moment we entered, the staff were helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel itself is a boutique property with a small number of rooms. Breakfast is available (for an extra 100 pesos, about $7 AUD) and it's wonderful. Bacon, eggs, wedges, toast with butter, jam and honey, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The pool is deliciously cool. The rooms are full of rustic charm and the hotel is perfectly located close to everything you'd need as a tourist in Merida. Honestly have nothing to fault. Love this place and can't wait to return.
