Very nice hotel, loved the location and the view especially at night time, walking distance across the bridge to lots of restaurants. Parking wasn't included in the room rate and cost us US $31 per night. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Horrible stay, do not come

I was not even allowed to check in due to racism of the front desk of employees. The blatant disregard the staff had for my wellbeing after telling me they are quite literally forcing me to the street was dumbfounding and led me to tears at multiple points. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was repeatedly laughed at. Eventually, I was able to speak to someone who identified themselves as a general manager over the phone, who refused to have any actual conversation with me and repeatedly just confirmed that they would not even assist me in checking in. I have every reason to believe if I were a white cis man, not a black trans woman, then I would have been allowed to check into my booking. There is no excuse for staff or management behavior in this situation. This was one of the worst experiences in a hotel I have ever had. As someone who serves as the executive director of a mid-sized firm, I am constantly planning travel for myself and my staff. After this experience, I do not think I will be making any further bookings with the Marriott company, and recommend anyone looking to book in Long Beach look at other hotels. The nearby Hyatt Regency was extremely accommodating with my last minute booking after being refused service at this hotel and I am grateful that I was able to experience a better hotel and be reminded of what hospitality should be. Your money, time, and energy will be better spent if you decide to book with a different hotel.

We ended up getting a handicap room which I didn’t book a handicap room shower was horrible then no pots and pans I had to call for them not happy

This hotel was 10/10 very clean, beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was comfy, room spotless and having a full on kitchen was wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay! 100% recommend. Parking was expensive but everything else was perfect.

I booked this hotel for kitchen and free breakfast and the hotel did not disappoint. Staff is very nice and friendly. Manager was very helpful too.

The Residence Inn at the Marriott is truly a gorgeous place to stay for a short getaway or business travel. While, I only stayed for one day ; everything was perfect. I will be doing business with this hotel again. Plus, I had an amazing marina view…. Beautiful ambiance.
