Brynwood on the River

Perfect location to all the activities we wanted to do. Some beautiful bull elk grazed out front daily. Staff is very friendly. Rooms need some updating.

It had a kitchenette so we could make our own meals, which was pretty cool. The rooms/appliances were slightly outdated, but they don't pretend to be an updated inn.

After reading reviews, I expected the rooms to be cleaner than what we found. The room was ok, but definitely dated. The front desk employee was very friendly and helpful

Super large comfortable room too. Ours was the Paintbrush room. It was like a two bedroom home complete with a full kitchen. Just bring your food. Everything was supplied even salt and pepper shakers. We could have lived there. The owners are also super nice and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

The place I stayed was the managers basement apartment. He was RUDE I had my son and niece over because they live in Estes and I wanted to visit with them and the owner came downstairs and threw them out! The rules never said no guests were allowed to visit. He didn’t apologize but thought he was justified. Than they said when I rented it that, I was going to stay in a vacation home on the river NOT ! I have pictures of the stained carpets , the filthy corners in the bathroom the old furniture that must have been his grandmothers. And no river In sight. Do not stay at this property unless there is no other properties to stay At in Estes as a matter a fact a car would be a better place to stay! The manager was a jerk and the house was dirty . After he traumatized us, I couldn’t sleep for a week I kept having nightmares that he was coming after me! Crazy night , crazy man

Excellent stay. Clean, great location, warm welcome. Would stay there again; and recommend it to others.

Thought we were getting a cabin but instead we were in a motel room. I asked for a cabin but they were sold out. Wasn’t clear when I made the reservation. Room was nice and fully equipped for a family stay. Didn’t see any staff - key was left for us in a mailbox and we left the key in the same box on departure. No room cleanup- just had to call for extra linens.

It’s a nice place, very convenient. Clean. They should change the flooring or replace the carpet. Even it is a non-smoking room, and the smell is not strong, you could still notice it was a smoking room a long time ago.

Great location on the road into Estes Park. The owner operators are great folks and very helpful. They are also full of useful information.

Property is family own well taken care of with many options. Tried the motel nice furnishings updated. Next time I want to try their beautiful cabins.
