Glenlyn Hotel

I think one gets what one pays for in this sort of accomodations. Very much 1980s decor. Hot breakfast decent service included. Interesting rooms. Wifi very weak in room 19 (almost non-existent). Stairs will be a challenge for anyone with mobility problems. Near high street and walking distance to Woodside park (northern line Zone 4 station). Reached Charing Cross in approx 30 mins.

We stayed at Glenlyn hotel for 1 night and found it very comfortable, conveniently located in a Victorian house not far from the Alexandra Palace. It offers a lovely view of their garden, clean room, comfortable bed and good full English and Mediterranean breakfast. The service was good and the hotel also offers a free parking.

When we arrived and were told that our accommodation had been upgraded to an apartment, we were surprised and delighted. When we actually saw the apartment my wife was nearly moved to tears because it is so lovely. If there were a grade higher than the highest we should give it.
