Booked 3 rooms in March 2022 and the check-in process took longer than usual with queue more than 30 minutes. Although virtual queue was given but the waiting time is unpleasantly long. Upgraded from Mountain View to Pool view for one of my room and Pool view to Seaview room. Since we were allocated to 2nd and 3rd floor and we could not really see the "sea" view and one of the "pool" view room is blocked. Would advise to check with the staff before confirming the room. Some rooms with bathtub and some rooms without. The design of water faucet is extremely unfriendly to use especially to set the correct temperature. Hot water and cold water are separated and the hot water faucet is extremely tight. The towels are wrapped in plastic bags and the hotel room is clean. There are free live channels including sports channel and free movies in the room. My bedlinen has several holes in it. Breakfast was OK.

We had a 1night staycation for my daughter’s birthday. The hotel was ok as far as standard hotel amenities, but it was clean and the staff were super nice. We had dinner at the HRC. It was a bit overpriced, which is not surprising, and the food was good and bad. For example, the nachos were good (cheese, diced tomatoes and jalapeños) but the beans were sweet. For the black pepper beef, the beef was really tasty but the rice was hard like from the day before. The pool is nice, especially for kids <10. Overall a nice stay.

Good with some exceptions

Good hotel but you need to realized that you would have to compromise some of your 5 star expectations. It is a very family friendly hotel, with great pools and slides for kids. Due to Covid-19 the hotel takes really good measures to keep you safe: they sanitize all arriving luggage, check everyone's temperature daily, make all wear masks. On the other side due to it they do NOT have daily room cleaning by default (and it is a 5 star hotel). You must ask about it at the reception, and they don't tell this to you in advance, nor there is any sign about it. It took us 2 days to realise it. The rooms are equipped with either king size bed or single beds (approx 120 cm wide). So double beds (as mention when you book it) are NOT vailable. It was sensitive for me as we were travelling as a family of 3 and ended up renting an extra bed. The food is good but shall you decide to order in the lobby or to the pool most of it will be served in a paper box, sort of fast food style. There are no bathrobes in rooms and the sign hidden inside of the wardrobe says you must ask for it specifically. I had shower broken in my room and ask 4-5 times during 2-3 days to have it fixed, never happened. In some corridors there is steady smoke smell even though smoking is prohibited in rooms. The beach with great white sand is just outside of hotel gate with the sea only 50 meters away. Overall it is a good hotel, which used to be 5 star sometime ago.
