Why not a different concept

A little different to most hotel/ motels but a great concept. Remote check in went very easy thanks to the 24/7 security man who was aware of our booking. Very large rooms. Comfortable. Clean. Parking easy. Nice staff on check out

Great place to stay, Had a few issues but were fixed while we were there, I would rate it around 3.5 to 4 stars stay, and the bed was very comfy, There were Beatles in the room, but that is expected due to the closeness to nature the rooms are, but they were only really on the floor, The staff were great help when we were planning extra events at Sovereign Hill, and even provided us access to the park for the evening so we could see the light show without having to drive to the main entrance of the park, The only real other issue with the room/property was that the curtain next to my bed was nearly falling off the roof on the first night, but we alerted reception and they got it fixed while we were out for the day (we stayed 2 nights) Very pleasant experience and would recommend for a cheaper, but more luxurious stay, and especially if you are planning to go to sovereign hill as well😉

Modern inside, spacious, with small cooking facilities. Check in and guest information was top notch. A smidgen more exlensive than staying in town, but in my eyes worth it.

Overall a good place to rest

Very reasonably priced place to stay, easy check in process and lovely staff! Nice clean bedding. A down side is some of the towels provided had a bit of a unpleasant stale smell to them, and we could hear our neighbour snoring through the walls (lol). Great shower pressure, nice sized bathroom.

We wanted a clean comfortable few frills room for 3 for 1 night at a reasonable price and that's exactly what we got. Service good, friendly.

Limited tv channels, only regular stations. Walls are not thick, we were next to very noisy people. Should get a discount on the park entry tickets if you stay there. No breakfast room. Rooms were very clean.

Over run by school children

3 or 4 groups of screaming kids also staying at the hotel. No respect at all for anyone else staying there. My room on the ground floor and the grassy area outside my room was used to ‘let the kids run of some steam’ according to the staff in the hotel. Absolutely fuming!!! Kids up and about at 11:30pm, again making unacceptable noise outside my door and woke me up. I was there on a business trip and it was too loud for my meeting in my room. The complex was very lovely and had gorgeous views, only to be completely ruined by the kids. I complained to the staff in the hotel and all got from them was, quote - ‘Well yeah, we allow the kids to run off some steam in that area until 8pm!’ If I wanted a quiet i should have mentioned on my booking’.. What? Since when did you have to request a quiet room in a hotel. I’m not asking for silence but her lack of care or empathy was the cherry on top. Such a shame to right such negative comments, but I had to say something and worn other guests. I would NEVER stay there again, and as I said earlier, it’s such a shame as the hotel location is lovely.
