BYD Lofts Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments

מלון מדהים. מעוצב כמו דירה עם רמת גימור מאוד גבוהה. דאגו עד לפרטים הקטנים. ארוחת בוקר הכי טובה ומגוונת שראינו בתאילנד. ניתן להזמין ארוחות לחדר מהמסעדה של המלון לא יקר ובטוב טעם, מנות גדולות. מיקום במרחק הליכה מחוף הים ורחוב baglada. בהמלצת המלון סגרנו כל האטרקציות בקיוסק ליד. היה מאוד משתלם ומסודר היטב אין מה לפחד.

We stayed in 2 bedroom apt and believe it or not, its SPOTLESS CLEAN! I dunno how they managed to be able to do that. Have to give credits to their housekeeping team. AC worked perfectly in hot and humit phiket weather. Location is at the edge of patong anf personally i prefer that its quiet and yet within walking distance to food, spa massage afn patong beach. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. The breakfast menu options are quite limited but the food are all really fresh and professionally prepared! Thanks a lot BYD - i never feel so satisfied with staying in a place for holiday.... this is beyond what 5 star resorts have to offer. Never stayed in 6 star before so cant compare.

Shortly after we checked in we were informed that there was an electricity outage, which lasted till the end of our stay. As a result we did not have air conditioning or hot water for the entire day. We were neither informed of the electricity outage before hand nor offered a refund/discount throughout the entire stay. I find this unacceptable. The hotel staff were neither apologetic or helpful in helping us manage the outage.

The apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. It had a separate living room with a big flat tv and 5.1 dolby surround system in case you want to chill listening to your favourite cd or watching a movie!! Kitchen was brabnd new and fully equipped, there was also a nice coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fully equipped with all necessary toiletries. One negative (and possibly the only one) was that the toilet had a bad smell (like fried oil) coming from the air pipe. Once you are there, give a try to their restaurant. The Thai food I tried was delicious and not to miss!! The area was also quiet even though Bangla street is on a walking distance. Overall a very nice hotel and stay!

Decent rooms , they are large. The bathrooms are small and basic. Hotel is in good location. Would not rate it a 5 star, 4 star at the most. Reception needs work as we were given our room more then 30 minutes after check in. Also departing hotel the receptionist ripped us off when asking for a cab. Did not give us the Mercedes or suv they advertise, instead we were given a un authorized cab that was a small Honda Civic. We were also overcharged as we were going to old town which is 20-25 mins and charged 600 baht(600 baht is normal price to airport) when asked why we were not given the cars advertised she lied about the price and said it was 1,000 baht for these cars.It’s obvious front desk and cabs work together and front desk is given a commission. The cab and other cabs also told us about this stupid practice and it left a bad taste in our mouths. Long story short, don’t ask the receptionist for a cab, they will rip you off.
