Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island

Disappointing

Stayed one night for a short flight stop. Room was comfortable but breakfast was disappointing with look warm food that did not taste fresh, staff were rude and inattentive. Would not stay again. The Mexican restaurant was also really poor with overpriced food.

The guy who checked us in was grest. Very helpful. DARSHAN a server at the breakfast was very very helpful. Went out of his way to help me with food with a cmingy 4 yr old and was very friendly woth my son too. One of the houskeeping guy was also very helpful with washing snd giving me teaspoons while he was cleaning the adjacent rooms when room servi e was very slow and did not deliver what was needed inspite of 3 calls. Which brings me to my second point. The day of checkout and service was disappointing. We wanted to use the pool before checkout and I wanted tea bags, and a spoon and honey before checking out at 2. I called 0 to request towels and waited for 45 min before cslling again. They arrived 10 min after my second call. After pool, i requested a tea bag, honey and a tsp so i could have tea before checking out, it wasnt sent for 45 min. Had to call 3 times to.get green tea instead of black tea. No spoon. Then called 5 6 times and noone picked up. Finally got through but it was too late. The honey never came. The spoon never came. Had asked to be forwarded to front desk to ask if they could send me a conceirge for 2 05, and clear me for checkout as my friend was picking me up 2:15. Noone picked up from there even thought i tried 7 or 8 times. Finally 10 min before 2, i got through and they said theyd send the conceirge but he never came. It wasnt even busy when we went down. Had to lug down all luggage with my 4 yr old myself.

Totally okay

It was fine; not great, but not bad either. Very convenient to Yas Circuit and grouped with other hotels, which means you have some dining choices even if they’re all hotel restaurants. Bellini bar behind the Radisson is actually lovely at night.

At the time of check in, we had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes because there was no one at the desk. Finally, one staff member came and checked us in. As soon as we got to the room, i realized the bath tub glass was loose and it was about to fall (checked in with three kids) so i informed the desk and it took about 1 hour for the maintenance to arrive. The guy left saying i will be back with some tools and never came back until the next day after I requested to speak with the manager. They finally fixed it the next day and in the meanwhile we couldn't use the bathroom because it was not safe. The toilet flush wasn't out of order as well. The room was even missing the iron and iron board. This stay was horrible and its sad that a 5 star hotel we had to experience this type of service. Will never return and I would expect my money back for this type of service.

ADIPEC week

Stayed here for ADIPEC. Really busy with families at the weekend but great during the week. All the staff are really good. Some aircraft noise. Can't wait to get back to help yourself breakfast...
