Hôtel Alexandra

Good location, very helpful staff. Having the restaurant at the hotel was helpful although it wasn’t open on Sunday, the day I arrived, very tired. The hotel is very close to the excellent museum and the center of the city.

Good location. I asked them not to clean my room and they did it anyway. They moved my papers around. I'm a writer and I had things organized. The shower head was turned (after cleaning) so it poured out on my head and the floor (the shower is very small). I told them ahead of time I must be gluten free and they had almost nothing gluten free and the gluten free food got mixed up with the normal food. They have no idea how to handle gluten free food as it must be clearly separated. i.e. they had the breads next to each other. They were reversed by the diners. When I said I was gluten free, they should have explained to me that they were unable to handle my needs. I would have gone elsewhere. The manager told me not to come into the dining room anymore for any reason. I was uncomfortable the entire time; they ruined my stay.

The property is newly renovated, the rooms and bath well thought out; the mattress felt a bit thin and firm, surprising with the general feel of the accommodation. Bath amenities were very nice.

The Street outside the hotel is being rebuilt. Noisy and unappealing as a result of construction. Hotel is built over a garage. Almost was hit by a car coming out of garage. I would not recommend for the price.

September 13,2019. Road construction. Modern. Stylish. Close to shops and Old Lyon, Notre Dame. Our room was shared a patio space with 4 other rooms. Nice and quiet but could possibly get loud with the wrong guests.

Well located, nice breakfasts, quiet, nice friendly staff.

Great private courtyard with comfy furniture. Very clean and welcoming room.
