Good location

Great location, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The only thing we didn’t like was the lack of character and ambience. And the light control system in the bedroom was an absolute nightmare.

Nice hotel but spa is not included

Nice hotel great location, but they charge for the spa 35 euroes! I though guests had free access.

Rooms and building are very nice. But it is very far from Madrid. And there is no free breakfast, which I would expect when paying $130+ per night. Also the beds were 2 twins rather than 1 queen, and extremely low quality for such an expensive hotel. The rooms were super fancy but the beds had cheap, uncomfortable mattresses and very poor quality sheets.

Modern paradore near the airport

This is one of the modern paradores. Majority of the rooms are below ground level which is a bit unusual. Rooms are comfortable but not as spacious as those historical paradores. Breakfast is nice. The 14 Euro charge for parking is steep considering most patrons would need to come by car and there is no street parking nearby.

Nice property. Horrible service

The property was great. However, my family's experience in the restaurant was horrible. The four of us arrived at 8:30pm, with reservations. First, we were seated near the entryway of the restaurant, a location decidedly not in the main dining area. Interestingly, everyone else who subsequently arrived for dinner were seated in the main dining area. I would also note, that we were the only diners in that area of the restaurant. Once seated, we had to endure a full 45 minutes of waiting before we were able to order our first round of drinks. To add insult to injury, our meal arrived at least another 30-45 minutes late. Furthermore, upon arrival, it was incorrect. Essentially, while the food was good enough, no meal is worth the level of service/disrespect we received. It took a significant effort of self-restraint to resist simply canceling our dinner order and immediately walking directly to the hotel manager's office to deliver a personal complaint. During check-out, I was asked about our stay. I provided the information presented above. (synopsized version). The person at the front desk expressed sympathy while simultaneously asking for my credit card to pay for our dinner. As this was our last night of a ten-day trip to Spain, I had hoped for much more.

The front desk staff was excellent! However there is no history flavour in this property at all. It is all new modern building with unattractive chip board smelly furniture, really poor bed and bedding. Also a big part of rooms are in the basement. We requested to change a room because of the strong sewage smell, and got the room on the third floor. We had chosen this hotel, because they claim it Is a historical building. You cannot find any historical building traces in any facilities, even in the restaurant. It is misrepresentative. Overall I would not give this hotel more three stars.
