Long weekend in Algarve

Very nice location with lovely beach. Excellent breakfast buffet. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

Lovely hotel near the beach

Amazing location with gorgeous walk to a striking beach next to limestone cliffs. Delicious food at both the bar + the buffet breakfast + the buffet dinner. Terrific staff who spoke lovely english and made sure we had what we needed. Location does require either a car or an Uber (which are cheap btw) to get to other Algarve sites Hotel rooms and spa lovely, the hallways with the brown carpeting need a refresh

Highly recommend

Loved this place! Had a sea view, amazing! Beds and pillows were up to my standards on comfort level. Room is larger than a typical hotel, had nice closet space. Bathroom was big, with door for separating shower and another door separating toilet. Sink was open and the wall the sink was on wasn’t closed. You could walk around it, thought that a little odd. So if you need privacy in/out of shower because you are with family it’s a bit awkward. Robes and slippers are provided for the stay which was nice, especially if going to the spa. Which we did & recommend. The grounds are so pretty. Winter in January is when we went. The weather was perfect for us. Not to hot or to cold, sun was out the whole time. Breakfast buffet was wonderful! Love all the choices. We weren’t into the dinner choices in the dining room, I’m sure it’s good, just wasn’t our speed. We chose to do room service and/or the cafe up top. They had food more to our liking. And it was really good! Staff is very nice and helpful throughout. Would recommend bar height tables up in the cafe area so you can see the view that is so awesome. Getting to the beach is a pretty hike down some cool stairs. Lots and lots of them. But the beach is Amazing! So worth the walk. Hardly anyone on the beach so it was like our own. Shuttle brought us to old town where we shopped and had some lunch on another beach. Loved it! Would suggest having a little gift shop for souvenirs and items for the beach at the resort.

Location Great! Hotel 4*

Hotel needs attention. Furniture and carpets all worn out. Stains in bedroom on wood furniture and fabric chairs. Bed was comfortable and our room had great sea view. Chairs on patio seats were torn and sinking. Interior pool is complimentary, yet they require you yo purchase their swim caps for 5 Euro. If required make them free. The service in the rooftop bar by Fernando is outstanding!! He was the only thing 5 star about the hotel. The breakfast was okay .. skip the dinner buffet. I never like to give a bad review, however , this was reality. They need an overhaul to get back up to speed. Location is nice with nice beach access. Hopefully they will spend some money to update.

Good Resort Hotel

This is a resort Hotel. Great place to go if you want to simply relax. We stayed for 5 days, 2 for relaxation and 3 for visiting other places in the Algarves. We had a very pleasant stay. The FAROS restaurant was super good. The 7 seas was just OK, buffet style serving blend food at a fairly high price tag... Room service was good. In my opinion, this is NOT a 5 stars Hotel. I would say more like a 3.5 stars due to hotel condition and quality of food availble.

Amazing hotel and stay

Couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel. Breakfast was incredible everyday and the beach is so beautiful and quiet. Old Town is only a 10 minute taxi from the hotel (10 euros if you want to go in the evening after the shuttle finishes) and the marina is a 4 euro journey - small price to pay to see the Bengal caves and the dolphins. A truly unforgettable holiday!

Fabulous hotel
