I was supposed to receive a room with 2 twin sized beds, but received a room with only 1 bed instead because "no other 2 beds were available," but I had explicitly reserved a 2 bed room. Also, hotel claimed to offer air conditioning in the rooms and free wifi, none of which worked. I had no international phone plan so it was difficult to contact home to the U.S. without wifi that I was promised. Additionally, the air conditioning in the rooms did not work at all, resulting in a very hot and stuffy room that I was unable to fall sleep in after a 12+ hour flight.

Disappointed in Spain

First time ever going to Spain so I wasn't sure where to stay. I thought I chose a hotel close to Madrid where we could walk easily to things. Wrong!!! But also even though the hotel wasn't near anything because we didn't speak Spainish they woman in the cafe was rude as hell.... The younger clerk when we checked in and needed change for water acted like I was bothering him until he finally after speaking to the older clerk said it would be OK to loan me a peso so I could buy water from their vending machines. Also, there were bus loads of children that checked in later that afternoon. What a nightmare! The yelling back and forth , running up and down the halls all night as if no one else was there. When whoever it was that had charge of them told them to quiet down that request was ignored and as we were only one floor up from the check-in that had an open staircase management didn't say one word to them even though there were plenty of other guest. Also for a non smoking hotel. There were kids smoking and again management didn't enforce their rules. Outside of that the room was clean bathroom was nice except for the soaking tub that was extremely slippery and you could easily fall and cause great harm to oneself. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good location, only a ten minute walk from the train station. Nice breakfast buffet for only 5 Euros. Very good internet. Was here for three nights for events in Madrid - the cost saving by staying in Fuenlabrada more than made up for the 20 minute train ride to Atocha Station in the city of Madrid. Nothing fancy but more than acceptable at a very reasonable price.

Good value and easy access to Madrid

The hotel is fairly large but the staff was very friedly and helpful and some spoke English. It's a 12 minute walk to the La Serla train station where you can take a 22 minute ride to downtown Madrid for around 2 euro. The C-5 trains are very frequent. Our room was quite small but well appointed with a small desk, chair, small fridge and a room safe (extra charge to use the safe). It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The central air conditioning was quiet but we opened the window which overlooked a quiet deck in the back for fresh air overnight. The 5 euro breakfast buffet could be improved and we didn't use it again after trying it once.
