Wet nice young man as Concierge. The ladies behind the desk were kind of up tight. Rooms very good. Service excellent. Shower extremely small!!!!!

Good but not worth the price.

The hotel is nice but absolutely not worth the price. The gardens looked like the nicest part of the hotel but they were for the bar and restaurant - it didn’t appear that you could sit and read a book or relax there. The rooms were very ‘corporate’ and a bit old fashioned.

Little amenities, good staff, great location...great location. Very expensice with little add ons for a "5 star" hotel. Good for a short stay in beaune..

So lovely and utterly French

There are so many things to love about this place - The proximity to town center - Adorable design (the terrace, the hotel lobby) - Breakfast spread - Helpful concierge - Daily supply of water Truly had a great stay Couple of things that could have been better - A fitness center or spa services - Advance warning/notice of additional costs (eg the breakfast - which we didnt know was extra - ended up being quite a bit during our week long stay)

Le Cèdre gets high marks

Le Cèdre is a 40 room, luxury hotel surrounded by gardens and fountains and is about a 7 minute walk to Beaune's center. Each of the rooms are individually decorated in a polished, french-country style and the staff was professional, attentive and polite. Each evening, there was automatic "turn down" service and, at checkout, the bellhop was extra helpful carrying our bags from our room all the way to the trunk of the taxi. The hotel is situated next door to a 19th c mansion that houses a Michelin star restaurant, and our 7 course meal there could simply be added to our room number. The hotel is wonderfully situated to enjoy the town of Beaune or the Côte d'Or wine region. Would be happy to visit again.

Beautiful hotel. But...

The hotel was amazing and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. But, money that was not out in plain view was stolen from our room when we went out for the day. When we informed the front desk they told us they would speak to the housekeeping staff. And we heard nothing more from the hotel. No follow up with us. Very disappointing.
