Corso Hotel Pécs

Very pleasant

A very nice hotel in the beautiful town of Pécs. The room was clean and large, well equipped. The mattress was a bit hard, in my opinion, but nevertheless I slept well. Breakfast buffet was rich and tasty, and the service was kind and professional. The reception stuff was also very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is 10-12 minutes walk from the main central square, which is an advantage: it's not far, and you don't get all the noise. If you arrive by car, you may park freely around the hotel only on weekends. During the week you must pay by the hour. Ask the reception for a daily card for a nearby parking lot.

Dissappointing

Nice hotel just outside the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds however were the hardest most uncomfortable beds I have every tried sleeping on. It was like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast was average. I would rate the hotel more a three star than 4 star establishment.

CORSO REVIEW

Hotel was fine, clean and tidy. Rooms and hallways a bit dark from my perspective. Not many guests during my stay. The breakfast is far from the standards of a 4* Hptel; and this had nothing to do with COVID-19.

Hard, uncomfortable beds

This did not feel like a four star hotel at all. Rock-hard beds, dated furnishings, everything feels old and tired. One of the most uncomfortable nights of sleep I have ever had.

Excellent location 10 minutes walk from the old town Excellent WIFI signal input even in rooms Large room, bathroom & shower large and comfortable Free Underground parking in the next building (for good drivers).

Corso Hotel

Business trip to Pecs found me staying at the Corso hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the historic town center. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast,although not as much choice as you'd expect in the Uk, was continental style and good quality. Excellent restaurant served plentiful good quality food during the evenings. The reception staff were very helpful in booking a transfer for me to Budapest Airport. Only gripe is the TV needs more than Bloomberg and CNBC channels in English. Watching business news is not my cup of tea! Woild I stay there again? Answer is YES!

Pet friendly = Human unfriendly

I really bitten up by pests in this hotel. If you don't know how to manage pest control then you should not have pets in a hotel.
