Motel One Berlin-Tiergarten

Absolutely AMAZING

As it was my first trip to Berlin, an offer of advice about getting around including nearest underground and a street map would have enhanced the service I received on arrival. Given the stiflingly high temperatures during the heatwave I was pleased that iced water was freely available in the main reception area. However on returning to the hotel after a long day hiking around the city I saw there was no iced water available. When I enquired - it was the same man who had checked me in- he said the hotel only offered the water up until 5.30 pm. This was odd since I had seen it available all the time I had been there. Afloat that time it was only 5.20 pm. Disappointing that no effort was made to even offer some water. It gave off an impression that the staff couldn’t really care less.

Great hotel. Clean. Very central spot. Excellent service too.

Quick check in. Great service brilliant location. Good breakfast. My first choice for Berlin in the future
